Do you play fantasy baseball or basketball? Yeah I know you dont. So anyway 'the dream band' is like 'the dream team' of USA basketball.
Okay. Enough of my sports analogies.
I picked one among the vast sea of rock gods that the world had ever heard play and formed the ultimate band. Its not that because theyre the best or theyre my fav but because they are capable of immersing with each others sound.
On vocals and rhythm.
James Hetfield(Metallica). His deep and diverse voice is legendary. I like the fact that he could even sing ballads like Nothing Else Matters. And he's not that bad(of course thats an understatement) on guitars(his balance and prescission) and songwriting.
Jimmy Page(Led Zeppelin). The creativity and originality of his riffs stamped his name into the iconic status. He could replicate any other guitarists out there and I think thats a huge something that contributes to any bands harmony.
John "Thunderfingers"Entwistle(The Who). His aggressive leads became very influencial to other preceeding guitarists. He is a huge part of the distinctive sound of The Who.
Chad Smith(Red Hot Chilli Peppers) Simply because he eats drums for breakfast!LOL. Seriously though, his drumming is simple but really clean with very addictive beats. Plus he is a great improviser.
I dont know if you could picture them playing along with each other *chokes myself* but I actually cant though somehow there's a voice in my head that says that they'll rock it out with each other.
Thoughts? How bout you who are your picks?
PS: yeah idea stolen from the master himself, Gab.
